What is the difference

If I said I have a one cup coffee maker, you would probably think I have those coffee makers that requires the coffee pods right? But my one cup coffee maker is still a drip filter coffee maker, with the difference being the serve that it makes. And this is the common mis-conception that many people have, they tend to confused one cup with single serve coffee maker. You cannot blame the consumer, this is because there wasn’t actually a catalogue defining the different coffee makers. But, just to set the records straight, one cup coffee maker is a drip filter while single serve coffee maker uses coffee pods. Other than pricing, with one cup being much lower than single serve, the quality is also different.

Monitor Your Used Auto Time

Here’s a gadget to consider if you spend a lot time behind the wheel. It’s called CarMD and it’s a small, hand-held device that can be used to monitor your new and used auto from a car, truck, minivan to an SUV (as long as it’s no older than a 1996 model).

To operate the CarMD, turn your car on and then insert the device into the standardized 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC) on your car (all vehicles made after 1996 have DLC). Depending on the make and model of your car. It is usually located under the dashboard on the driver’s side, but may be in another location. If you are driving an Asian or European import the DLC could be behind the ashtray.

Once inserted the device will display either a Green light = go, Yellow light = proceed with caution or a Red light = consult your mechanic.

You can also pre-smog test your car (or a car you are considering buying) with this device. If the CarMD reads Yellow or Red the vehicle may not pass a state emissions test.

Just Speaking My Mind

Rap musicians are known to push buttons and test the waters about the acceptability of the lyrics they sing. Some lyrics are downright insulting. Artists like Eminem constantly test the acceptability limits of the public by putting out new albums that push the limit. He wins awards for his work, even though there are those out there who say his work is too controversial to be considered art, and he should not, therefore, win an award. The funny thing is, however, that his popularity does not cease. His music sells millions and millions of copies and his rap ringtones are downloaded constantly. He is making a fortune speaking his mind. Who wouldn’t fight to keep the right to do that?

I wonder it this makes me the rebound guy!

Our date seemed to get off to a really good start. I was far less nervous once we laid things all out on the table. It was flattering to know that she thought I would be way more exciting and caring than her ex. They had a three year relationship so I guess this says tons about our small encounters. I’m still a little nervous that she could jump from wanting to get an ex back to wanting to go out with me in one day. Does this mean that I am pretty much the rebound guy? Should I care if I am?
