My wife was pretty excited for vacation this year. However, we had to make some cuts because of the economic situation. The good news was, I did not need to cut a whole lot on the quality. I was doing a divorce record search for a school project and I found out that around 50% of all American marriages end in divorce. It’s just so disheartening to learn that. What happened to sticking it out through ‘thick and thin’? It seems like no one takes marriage seriously anymore! There are so many people who treat marriage so casually and get married with the attitude that they can ‘just divorce’ if it doesn’t work out. I don’t think that people with that kind of attitude should get married at all. You’re just setting yourself up for failure! I mean I understand if it really doesn’t work out or you change and become different people, but to go into a marriage expecting to get divorced just seems far too ironic.

By the time my husband and I decided to start a family, most of my friends’ children were starting high school. But I had waited and now was worried that I couldn’t conceive.
