For years I lived in a small loft in New York City. As an artist, I managed to create sculptures, collect paintings, and line my walls with photographs, floor to ceiling. When I decided to move to a small town in Tennessee, I knew I wanted a house, but wanted it to reflect my own artistic style.
Eventually I decided to have a Modular Home built on a beautiful rustic lot. I could get the house built quickly, choose the style and number of rooms I wanted, and create and add on later, if needed. I also liked the fact that the home would withstand the area’s weather.
When my home was complete, I decorated using my own furniture and added my art, giving my home the feel of a light, bright studio. On the front lawn hangs a plaque proclaiming, “Home is Where the Art is”.

What would you do if you were to lose your ID? I don’t mean your license or something like that, I mean your identity. Your entire existence and your appearance, the thing that you use to make the world go round for you, what you use to go to work everyday and to let your family know that you are who you are and there to share your life’s work with them? Your life would fall apart, and you would become a groveling and useless person broken in spirit and nameless. You would not want that, yet that is what will happen to you if you do not protect yourself against identity theft. We are trying to figure out the most cost effective way of screening employees. We definitely don’t want to wait until the interview, so we need to figure out how to screen employees effectively during the application process. Is it expensive to get an online pre-employment testing system set up? That would be a lot easier for us than trying to do this with a paper and pencil test that someone would have to then score. We want the computer to do the work for us so that we can just go to a file with the best candidates and see which ones look the best for our purposes.
