I was trying to think of an activity for my boys to do on a rainy day. Since my husband is taking them camping in a few weeks, I decided to have them put together some disaster emergency kits to take with them. They had never had one, so they were unsure of what to put. I made a list of the essentials for them: band-aids, alcohol wipes for cuts, emergency candles, water-proof matches, bottles of water, a pocket knife and some rope, and finally some granola bars for emergency food. It has been a tough year for our business. Like so many other companies we have seen a down turn in business. Our employees’ morale is definitely down. We have been thinking about what we can do to improve that a bit. We are planning a cook-out this summer. I would like to book a corporate comedian for the cook-out.
