The general definition of an audit is an evaluation of a person, organization, system, process, enterprise, project or product. Audits are performed to ascertain the validity and reliability of information; also to provide an assessment of a system’s internal control. The goal of an audit is to express an opinion on the person / organization/system (etc) in question, under evaluation based on work done on a test basis. Due to practical constraints, an audit seeks to provide only reasonable assurance that the statements are free from material error. Hence, statistical sampling is often adopted in audits. In the case of financial audits, a set of financial statements are said to be true and fair when they are free of material misstatements – a concept influenced by both quantitative and qualitative factors.

Would it be a task that is way out of my realm of comfort if I tried to create a web site on my own? I do not have any skills or training in the area but when I do a search on line it seems that just about anyone these days has a web site and I doubt that they are all outsourcing the web design and there can not be that many technical people in the world. I see that there are tutorials available and to get started does not look all that tough. Will it get harder to manage down the road?

Our daughter had just taken on a new job. When we asked her what she was doing she told us that she was working for a Gold Coast SEO. Neither my wife nor I had any idea what that meant but we do not do a lot with computers and that is what she lives for. She explained that she did the work that helped the search engines on the Internet find her clients and then make them easier for other people to find. While it did not make a lot of sense to us it must to her boss because they pay her a lot of money to do it.

I bet you’ve never seen a couple who never fights with each other? Well, your not the only one, its just not possible.
