When you work with hazardous materials, it’s no laughing matter and solvents are classified as hazardous under both federal and state laws. When it comes to handling, transporting and disposing of these materials, it’s a highly regulated procedure and can be very costly, especially if not done properly. And that’s why I decided to use solvent stills and have the entire procedure done in-house. Now that I’m recycling waste solvents I’m not only saving money on disposing of waste, but also on buying new solvents too! I’m saving an average of 90% since purchasing my new solvent still. At this rate, it will pay for itself in no time!

When I was in Sak’s Fifth Avenue last, I stopped at the jewelry counter to have a ring cleaned and I saw the most beautiful onyx ring sitting in the Judith Ripka case that I just had to have. It was a gorgeous black onyx and sterling silver ring accented with crystal clear diamonds. So I whipped out my Sak’s credit card and charged it. I am so happy with my purchase! I have had so many complements, about my ring, from complete strangers even! It matches nearly everything in my closet. I think I might purchase the matching earrings next.

My daughter is just beginning to plan her wedding. As we looked through all the items we would need, or at least love to have, the cost kept rising to a number which it seemed we could never afford. Fortunately my pal Amy is fantastic on the computer and told us about wedding voucher codes that we could find there. These sites not only offer wedding dresses with a discount voucher but almost anything else you would need for a complete and lovely wedding. We are now halfway through out list of items and by using these voucher codes, were are no where near the total cost of the wedding that we had originally discussed.

When my husband and I got married, we were as broke as most newlyweds. However, we had hundreds of friends and family and wanted to have a large reception so they could all celebrate with us. We ended up having a lovely outdoor affair in my mother in laws back yard. She had beautiful garden gazebos and everything was in full bloom, making it the perfect back drop. The pergolas and gazebos made the decorating a cinch, not to mention cheap. We also had a dear friend who agreed to take care of the food as a gift, so we only had to cover the supply cost. We have my dress made. It turned out lovely and I’m sure our guests had no idea we were on a tight budget.

Making pickled carrots is exciting. It will allow you to have more control on the taste and flavor of the carrots. Plus, this can be a good bonding moment with the kids as you will need all the help you can get to put all the carrots in the jars.
One very important thing to take note of when making pickled carrots is to find the best quality carrots. You can either buy one from the supermarket or plant your own, if you have a backyard garden. If you do have some carrots planted in your garden, you need to make sure that your plants are free from carrot flies.
Carrot flies are disgusting insects that damage the crop. Such flies are responsible for the brownish holes in your carrots. You can’t pickle carrots that are damaged by flies, so you need to ensure that your crop is safe from the pests. You can do that by making sure that your carrots are planted inside containers that are at least more than 2 feet higher than the ground. Here is one interesting fact: carrot flies travel close to the ground. And if a barrier is more than 2 feet high, they will not bother going over the barrier. They will just zoom past and continue their path. This leaves your carrots unharmed.

I’ve been in school for a couple of years and now the time has come where I am being offered an opportunity that does not present itself every day to just any student. In fact, most students are not aware that international internships are available. With an internship, I can travel to a foreign country to use the knowledge that I have acquired thus far in my studies. This enables me to gain hands on experience and learn another language at the same time. Internships can last from 2 months or even up to one year and what I can learn while abroad will only help me in my last year of study.

I like to shop around before I buy anything, but I particularly take my time when buying something for my business. I am a wedding DJ and having the best equipment can make or break my business. The most important piece of equipment that I use is my wireless microphone system. I am usually moving around during wedding and receptions, and I need to have a microphone everywhere that I go for announcements. The wireless microphone is the best because it does not keep me tied down to one spot while I am working. I get to move where the action goes.
