A Music Life

July 25th, 2009

Growing up in a musical family, with a brother who played trombone, and a mom who played clarinet, I couldn’t help but become interested in music as well.  I first picked up the violin, and that was fun, but then I saw a trumpet and fell in love with the sound of brass.  But being the music student that I am, I decided to pick up an old cheap acoustic guitar because I didn’t want to pour a whole bunch of money into something I wasn’t sure I’d be able to play.  I’m getting better, but I’m sure glad I started cheap.
