Nature Photography 2
December 2nd, 2008
Nature photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I really started getting serious about it approximately 10 years ago after my wife and I moved to northeast Georgia. We began taking advantage of our close proximity to the mountains of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina by taking weekend trips to explore these areas. With a 35mm Canon camera I started photographing scenes that intrigued and inspired me. Nature photography probably took hold of me after I got my first digital camera. I stood on a rock out in the Little River, which runs through the Smokies, and took a shot up stream. The print made from that image turned out to be the seed of inspiration to begin my journey of becoming a professional nature photographer.
