Insurance Before It Goes Off the Lot

My first car was ten years old when I finally had the money to buy it.  I had saved for over two years as my dad would not let me go in debt for a car.  He also said that I had to be able to show him proof of insurance before he would allow me to drive it off the lot.   When I started to check the price of auto insurance I was sure that I would never be able to drive a car.   Then I checked the prices for cheap online auto insurance.   With the big saving I got there I was able to get my car and drive it home.
