First The Plan

Lets say I wanted to get a spa installed in my existing bathroom, how would I go about that. I am so confused. I read that you have to hire allot of people to check codes and permits. I just want a small spa, in an existing room. It seems like it is going to be a headache for it to ever happen.It seems like such a simple process, but obviously not.It  is going to take months of planning, then months of work to find a spa design.I am beginning to think it is just not worth the headache. I should have talked to a contractor before I started.
