Stock Market Investing Requires Substantial Education

January 6th, 2009

If I were to give any stock market investing advice, or general investing advice for that matter, then it would simply be to invest in oneself first.  Your education will give you the best return on investment possible.  Learn, learn some more, and then learn even more.

Strong investors all have a common ground: education.  You need education if you are ever to reach even an approximate measure of comparable success.  Spend the time and, where applicable, money to learn everything you can.  You do not have to wait to start investing until you have learned enough because no such starting line for education exists.  Instead learn as you go but never stock the learning process.
