February 17th, 2009

If you are concerned that you might not be able to find a good, long term job after you have completed nursing school, allow me to lay your fears to rest. There are vacancies for nurses in all aspects of medicine, and your chances of finding a job right out of nursing school are probably higher than in any other profession. Registered nurses are always needed to administer intravenous medications, give shots, change dressings and to administer medication in pill form, as well as work as ward administrators. Licensed practical nurses are needed to perform general patient care duties. You need have no fear of being unemployed!
