Making Light Work of Important Job

In days gone by, selling fresh fruit and produce was a lot more simple than it is now. Years ago, farmers sold their crops primarily at local markets or at their own farm stands, or to local grocers. Today, as the economy becomes globalized and the food supply chain ever more complicated, it is not this simple. Fruits must be sorted and packaged for shipment all over the country and,in some cases, all over the world. Packing cherries for such shipment by hand can be a disastrous undertaking, because it is so time-consuming, but using a sorting and packing machine can make light work of the job.
