In my opinion the king of all exercises is the dead lift. This exercise will give your entire body a great workout. I always start a back workout with the deadlift. I make sure that I always do this exercise first in my workout. This is when I am the strongest and can take advantage of that strength. This lift will stimulate mre muscel growth then any other lift that you can do aside from the squat. It used to be that the deadlift was the lift that gym rats used to measure themselvs with. When weight training always add the deadlft.
