Overactive Thyroid Symptoms

If you have been experiencing symptoms such as a good appetite but no weight gain, racing heart, thinning of skin, perspiration, irritability and thin or brittle hair you may have an overactive thyroid. This is also known as hyperthyroidism. It is important that if you are experiencing the above symptoms that you consult with your medical doctor immediately. The best course of action would be to make a list of your symptoms to take with you to your medical appointment. That way you will not forget anything when you are at the doctor. You can be given medication by your doctor to help regulate your thyroid.
