Why does colon cleansing lower your blood pressure?

March 21st, 2009

I’ve heard all of the claims about the benefits of colon cleansing and what it can do for your weight, your cholesterol, and the thing I’m most concerned about, which is my blood pressure. It makes sense when they talk about how your weight will drop and your cholesterol will drop, because you’re getting rid of a bunch of stuff that’s been sitting around in your bowels for years. But what I don’t understand is why learning how to cleanse your colon and doing it properly will also cause your blood pressure to regulate itself naturally. Where’s the connection here?
