Advantages of Smaller Coops

February 19th, 2010

There are a number of advantages in having small chicken coops. The most obvious, of course, is that they require less space. But there are other advantages. Investment-wise, you can build small chicken coops one at a time, meaning you don’t have to invest a big amount all at once, but just add on as you get more money to expand your farm. Repair and maintenance can also be done by unit, which makes it more convenient since you don’t have to relocate so many chickens if you have to make some repairs or improvements to one coop. It is also easier to rearrange the layout of your farm with small chicken coops that you can readily move around.
