Time for Easter
June 8th, 2009
Easter Dates are rich in history. The traditions that we take for granted have such meaning. Did you know that during Medieval times, many children would paint eggs bright red to symbolize the blood of Christ. Today, we love to color eggs with my boys. The smell of vinegar and the egg coloring immediately reverts you back to your own little piece of childhood. At least, that’s how it works for me. My boys love to write their name in crayon and make pattern. Of course, the always famous, dip the egg into all the colors and see the result is a favorite, as well.
