Lonliness as an Elder

I am eighty five years old. My kids have all moved away and I live alone in my small one bedroom cottage by the lake. My husband died eight years ago and since then I have been lonely. I recently learned how to use the Internet and this opened up a world of opportunity for me. I could read a lot more and find things online to keep me occupied. Then I read about chat rooms. I thought it would be a great idea for me if I found a Senior Chat room for me to visit from time to time and talk to somebody my own age. This helps fill a big gap in my life.
