Injury Claims That Involve Whiplash

My sister-in-law was in a car accident. Since then she has had problems with her neck. Could it be whiplash? It might be so she may be looking into injury claims. She is in a lot of pain, sometimes it is unbearable. She even had surgery on it recently, which had her feeling better for a bit, but now the pain is back. This all started after she had a car accident in which someone wrecked into her car. She must have thrown her neck forward and back, which is now causing her pain and has been causing her pain since the accident.
