Cleaning The Registry 101

Someone recently asked me about their Windows registry and how they could access it so they could clean out some files.  I knew this person personally and knew that they were not a computer tech in the least.  They originally thought that cleaning out the registry would be like cleaning off their Windows desktop.  However, it’s not.  If you want to clean Windows registry files then you really have to use a high quality registry cleaner utility software program.  These programs are specially designed to scan through the registry and identify all the orphaned and obsolete files.  The typical computer has upwards of 700 excess and invalid files and folders in the registry.
